Financial giving is often expressed in two ways: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches that we honor the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income given to the church on a regular basis.

 

Offerings are any giving above the tithe, given as an act of generosity to help meet needs and support the work God is doing through the church.
